Isabella's Baptism {The Celebration}

We celebrated Isabella's Baptism over the weekend! And it was perfect, despite the gloomy weather and a last minute venue change. We were originally going to have it outdoors, but it was a bit chilly and it rained a little. We served up tacos from a local taco guy, and the cake was from a well known local bakery, Beverly's Best. They've even had a show on TLC. The cake was filled with pineapple Bavarian cream and covered in a French buttercream. The food was good and the cake was yum! Favors were calendar magnets I made using Bella's picture, and I also made cake pops. The cake pops were a huge *HIT*! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, loved them. They were quite delicious. Of course, I did the decor. I had a ton of fun putting everything together, and I can't wait to do it again!

    Hi! love everything you did for the baptism celebration! I'm trying to make the calendar magnets for my goddaughter baptism, wich we'll celebrate on October 16, 2011. Would you be so kind and tell me how you made the calendars? If you can, I will appreciate it a lot. Thansk!

    I made the calendars through Sam's Club. I just went to samsclub.com, uploaded the photo, added text, and had them sent to my local Sam's Club. I added the magnets to the back of each one. Hope this helps!

    Thank you for your reply. What size are your calendars? where did you buy the magnets? Did the magnets cover the whole back surface of the calendars?

    I think they are 5x7, and I got the magnets in a roll at Michaels. I put a piece of magnet on every corner.

    I love your baptism decor and would like to use same enterpieces for my daughter's baptism where can I find those vase wrappers?

      Hi Sofia, for the centerpieces i wrapped the vases in pink and white damask scrapbook paper I bought at Michaels. I also used gray ribbon on top of that. Hope this helps!
